Plan of Action - West Nile virus - 2003

The Government of Québec plans to use only larvicides. Bti will be used in stagnant water. In certain cases where the incidence of the virus is present in mosquitoes in storm drains, methoprene will be placed in those drains.

Adulticides will not be used.

A campaign on personal protection will be carried out throughout the Province.
